Make hats usable armor head pieces.
Since we are most likely not gonna get any more armor sets or pieces as Regina hinted on one of her posts, it would be nice if we could use hats as usable armor pieces that we could use in pve or serious pvp, I dont think there are any drawbacks, and the models are already there.
Thanks for reading.

...how do you account for different armor values for different professions then? Because the armor headpieces for, say, 1k Kurzick Warrior and 1k Kurzick Assassin are different, but hats are identical for everyone, regardless of profession.
If, of course, it can be done, I'm pretty neutral towards the whole thing.

Easy, havn't you seen the armor values for the EotN collector armor? The blindfold, Mo-Zing Mask, ect. all have the armor levels (and bonuses) for whatever profession the character that 'buys' it.
Nice idea though OP, I'd support this since my guildies have wanted to do Frostmaw's HM with the Canthan Festival hats.

Defeats the entire point of having them have 0 AL in the first place. A.net made hats this way specifically so people wouldn't be running around with jackolantern heads all the time.

As much fun as it would be, it's been suggested several times before and poo-poo'd by A-Net several times.
hehe - was doing the CoF dungeon with a couple of friends, one of them used a candy-corn tonic. Had to laugh that her character didn't just melt when going through part where the ground caused burning.

As mentioned, please check the rest of the forum to make sure your idea hasn't been posted recently.
Thanks.
